Have you ever wanted to design your own fabric? Join Tammy from Loopla in this 3 hour workshop and learn how to create a repeat pattern by hand. Following the workshop, you will get one metre of cotton poplin fabric featuring your very own personalised design, ready to be transformed into your next creative project.
You will learn:
- The basics of surface design
- The principles of design
- Different pattern types
- How to create a repeating pattern with pen and paper
What’s included:
- Three hour in-person workshop on fabric design
- Digitisation of your design by Tammy following the class
- A preview of your digitised design emailed prior to printing (note: changes may incur extra charges)
- One metre of cotton poplin fabric featuring your design (with the option to order additional metres or select different fabric bases at an extra cost)
- Tea, coffee and light refreshments (gluten free / vegan)
You will need to bring/supply:
- Any inspiration or ideas for your fabric design!
