Join local artist Frankie Barloc for this fun and hands on intro to mixed media printmaking workshop.

Come and play with different types of print making, layering techniques and lots of colour and walk away with your very own design on a calico tote bag.

You will learn:

  • The different types of print making
  • The varying tools and supplies you need to begin making prints
  • How to use stencils, screens and gel plates.
  • How screens are developed for screen printing and how to make your own gel plate
  • Creative ways to enhance and layer your prints

What’s included:

  • 6 hours of professional tuition by local artist Frankie Barloc in a group of up to 6 students
  • All the materials you’ll need to make your own tote bag
  • Access to all the tools
  • Some take home notes
  • Tea, coffee and light refreshments (gluten free & vegan)

You will need to bring/supply:

  • Your notebook/journal for sketching out your ideas and notes for future reference.
  • An apron and/or wear clothes that are ok for painting

This class is perfect for beginners – no prior experience is needed.
